Interim or Permanent Senior HR Advisor

£45,000 - £55,000 | Hucknall | Immediate Start | Interim (3-6 months) or Permanent

Are you the kind of HR professional who thrives when others shy away from complexity?

We're supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Hucknall that is undergoing significant organisational change and transformation.  As a result, we're looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly and provide confident, hands-on HR support from day one.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action.  You'll work closely with managers and employees, supporting a wide range of employee relations matters, organisational change initiatives and day-to-day HR operations within a busy operational environment.

Most importantly, we need someone who is available to start quickly.  Whether you're looking for an interim assignment or a permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

This is a broad generalist position where no two days are the same.

  • Managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters
  • Supporting organisational change, consultations and changes to working practices
  • Advising and coaching managers through challenging people situations
  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit
  • Preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate HR records
  • Working closely with operational leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR support
  • Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to HR delivery

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a resilient HR professional who can confidently navigate a business going through substantial change.

  • Strong HR generalist experience within a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Business Partner level role
  • Significant employee relations experience
  • Experience supporting consultation processes, organisational change or workforce restructuring
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and support managers at all levels
  • Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics or another operational environment
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • A genuinely thick skin and the resilience to operate effectively in a changing environment where not everyone will embrace new ways of working immediately

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact during a pivotal period for the business.  You'll be trusted to take ownership, support business leaders through change and help shape a positive path forward for both managers and employees.

If you're available at short notice, enjoy rolling your sleeves up and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment undergoing transformation, we'd love to hear from you.

Immediate interviews available.
Interim and permanent applicants welcome.
